ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Accelerate results in SQDC by leveraging DBS tools, mentoring skills, and change management processes.Assist OpCo and site leadership in the development of a DBS roadmap to meet PD/CVD/KPI requirements and DBS SustainabilityDirectly provide formal and informal DBS training and mentoring at GembaFacilitate other DBS training sessions when appropriate (ECO, DBSLO, DBS Bootcamps, Shingijutsu, etc.)Assist in achieving OpCo and / or site Policy Deployment and KPI objectivesRegularly participate in L1 or L2 PD reviewsContinue to evolve DBS tools, as prioritized through the annual DBSO Strat processEnsure impactful kaizen events at mentored OpCos or sitesPromote and facilitate diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide expert counsel on appropriate DBS tools to eliminate themImprove DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing Certified Practitioner (CP) and Advanced Certified Practitioner (ACP) status in DBS toolsAs Process Tool owner for select DBS tools, promote the use and improvement of these tools and build a network of global CPs and ACPs to support Danaher and OpCO needsPromote and facilitate associate development in DBS Fundamentals, Lean tools and other DBS tools as requiredEvaluate and approve candidates for CP and ACPBenchmark internally in Danaher and externally and incorporate best practices into DBSSupport DBS learning across Danaher via self-help tools such as 1-point lessons, yammer, DBSO Office hours, etc.Most Important Competencies Required:Teamwork - must be able to lead a team(s) of Danaher Associates from multiple disciplines and/or companiesAbility to influence others - must be able to inform, convince, and persuade others to action on key initiatives at all levels in the organization (up and down)Results orientation - must deliver SQDC sustainable resultsTechnical excellence - must possess the technical skills necessary to be seen as credible in DHR by peers and managersCommunication—must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formsFollowership & Leadership – must understand how to leverage both to drive sustainable changeQUALIFICATIONS:Must be hands-on and detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture.
